Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has announced she's resigning from her job and plans to step down by the end of the month. She announced from her home on July 3, 2009, just moments ago.
Palin said she will transfer power to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell. Parnell will be sworn in during an event on July 25th.
Do you realize that people are still asking who Trig's mother is? Give it a rest people! I am glad to see Palin out, giving interviews and working for the people of Alaska. Ok, I know that there will be comments on this post that call the content of this article into question. Yes, it is definitely a defensive move from the Palin camp to counterattack all the criticism that was poured on her after McCain lost. But I gave both sides a fair listen and have taken away that all this "he said/she said" just has to be thrown out because it's impossible for us to know which side is telling the truth... in some ways, I'm sure they both are.

We like her, the right may be dwindling but that is because of the decreasing moral compass of America. Just because you are afraid of the religious right doesnt mean we will all make you comfortable by denying our convictions and moving to the left. You are only posting to stir up dissention and it is not helpful or productive, I suggest you go where you are wanted and it's not here.

McCain did not lose the election because of Palin. McCain lost because of the economy issues that occured in September and that were exasperated by the media.
P.S. Palin has been grilled and beaten up like no other. She has done a graceful job and held her head up high. I love her!
Whoever you're voting for (I'm still pulling for Chuck Norris as a write-in), get out and do it. Especially if you're voting for McCain/Palin ;) just kidding... had to get one final plug in, of course.
